Commission a Rockster Pen

Purchasing this option secures your place in the current commission batch and acts as a £50 deposit toward your order.

The Models and Styles page sets out the available pen designs, while pricing can be found on the Prices & Options page. Please check these first to ensure the options suit your budget, so there are no surprises later on.
What a Rockster Commission Is
A Rockster commission gives you the opportunity to personalise one of my existing pen models.
You’ll typically be able to choose from options such as:
- Model
- Size
- Style / trim level
- Material (subject to availability)
- Nib choice
Commissions are always built around my established designs, proportions and construction methods. This is not a completely open-ended made-to-drawing service, and I don’t produce entirely new one-off shapes or custom-engineered models as part of the commission process.

Part of the enjoyment of commissions is working together on something we’re both excited about.
I’ll always help guide choices so the finished pen feels personal to you, while still staying true to the Rockster style and being something I’m proud to put my name to.

Please note, this page is intended as a guide and source of inspiration rather than a live stock list. Some materials shown may no longer be available, may be temporarily out of stock, or may only be available in quantities too small for commission work.
I’ll always let you know what is currently available when we discuss your commission, and can suggest suitable alternatives if needed.
All Rockster Pens are finished in my signature polished finish. I do not offer satin, matte or intentionally dulled finishes as part of the commission service.
👉 A quick note: wooden pens are not available as part of the commission service.
How It Works
Once you’ve secured your place, I’ll be in touch to discuss your choices.
After we’ve agreed the specification, I’ll confirm:
- Final price
- Estimated timescale
- Any relevant details before work begins
If you’re happy to proceed, the £50 deposit will be deducted from the final balance.
If your request turns out to be something I’m unable to accommodate, your deposit will be fully refunded.
Once work has begun on your pen, the deposit becomes non-refundable.
Availability & Lead Times
Commissions are released in small batches to keep things fair and manageable.
- One commission per person, per batch
- Numbers are kept intentionally small to avoid long waiting lists
- Expected timescales will be confirmed up front
