This DayDreamer model is made from natural, stabilised thuya burl. The process involves using pressure and/or vacuum to impregnate the wood's cellular structure with resin to improve the stability of the wood.
Beautiful tortoiseshell coloured cellulose is used for the cap threads and section. This is a favourite material here at Rockster as to only does it look great but it feels soft and warm to the touch. The cap finial houses a solid sterling silver and red logo coin.
It is shown fitted with a Bock no6 two-tone nib.
The 1315 is a wider sized pen with a step between the 13mm cap threads and the remainder of the tapered barrel which is 15mm in diameter at the widest point. The grip section is slightly pinched to ≈11.5mm diameter at its narrowest point.
The cap tapers towards the end. As these pens are all hand made there may be small variations on measurements.
Length - Capped ≈ 140mm, uncapped ≈ 134mm
It is provided with a high quality Beaufort Ink international standard sized converter. Standard ink cartridges can also be used.
