Prices & Options

Most Rockster Pens are made as one-off pieces and listed for sale once complete. Prices vary depending on the model, style, and materials used.

From time to time I also offer the chance to commission a pen. This is only available when the “Commission a Pen” option appears in the Pens for Sale section of the website.

Options & Upgrades

Clips

  • Available on Maestro and Artisan Styles
  • Steel clips available in chrome, gold plate, or rose gold plate
  • Standard, Roller, Art Deco and Cabochon styles available (subject to availability)

Accent Rings

  • Can be fitted at the section, cap and barrel Finials
  • Available in sterling silver, brass, bronze, or acrylic
  • Adds detail and weight, especially in Signature and Artisan styles

Nib Options

  • Standard: high-quality steel nibs (JoWo, Bock, or Schmidt)
    • Polished Steel & Gold Plate as standard
  • Other finishes (14k or 18k, black, red, purple lacquer etc...) available on request- priced separately

Materials

  • Acrylics and cellulose acetates form the core range
  • Stabilised woods (often maple burr) include acrylic liners and finials for durability
  • Premium materials such as rare acrylics, celluloid or Mazzucchelli are available - priced higher due to scarcity and difficulty of working

Commissioning a Pen

Commissioning is straightforward:

  1. Pick a model and style

  2. Decide on size - Slim, Standard, Large, Max (or Rascal equivalents)

  3. Choose materials and any options (clip, rings, nib upgrades)

  4. I’ll confirm everything with you by email before starting work

To keep things simple, commissions are only available through the Pens for Sale page when the option is shown. I’m not able to take commissions by direct message or email - this just helps me manage the workload and make sure no one gets missed.

No commission is started until all details are agreed.

All Rockster Pens are handcrafted in the UK and intended for adult use. They are not toys and are not suitable for children under 14.
