This DayDreamer model is made from azure blue dyed, stabilised maple burl. The process involves using pressure and/or vacuum to impregnate the wood's cellular structure with resin to improve the stability of the wood.
Light tortoiseshell coloured cellulose acetate is used for the cap threads and also for the section which features a red accent ring. The pen is finished off with a solid sterling silver and red splat logo coin in the cap finial.
It is shown fitted with a Jowo No. 6 solid 18k gold nib (the price quoted is for a standard gold plate or polished steel nib, however this can be upgraded to the 18k gold option). Other nib options are available and you will be contacted after purchase to confirm your choice.
The 1315 is a wider sized pen with a step between the 13mm cap threads and the remainder of the tapered barrel which is 15mm in diameter at the widest point. The grip section is slightly pinched to ≈11.5mm diameter at its narrowest point.
The cap tapers towards the end. As these pens are all hand made there may be small variations on measurements.
Length - Capped ≈ 140mm, uncapped ≈ 134mm
It is provided with a high quality Beaufort Ink international standard sized converter. Standard ink cartridges can also be used.
