This DayDreamer model is made from red dyed, stabilised maple burl. The process involves using pressure and/or vacuum to impregnate the wood's cellular structure with resin to improve the stability of the wood.
Red pearl acrylic is used for the section and finials, and this material is used to fully line both the cap and barrel. Sterling silver accent rings and logo coin finish the pen.
It is shown fitted with a Bock no6 polished steel nib.
The 1315 is a wider sized pen with a step between the 13mm cap threads and the remainder of the tapered barrel which is 15mm in diameter at the widest point. The grip section is slightly pinched to ≈11.5mm diameter at its narrowest point.
The cap tapers towards the end. As these pens are all hand made there may be small variations on measurements.
Length - Capped ≈ 140mm, uncapped ≈ 134mm
It is provided with a high quality Beaufort Ink international standard sized converter. Standard ink cartridges can also be used.
