This TroubleShooter model is made from Matisse Casein with Navy Blue cap and accents. Casein is a material that was commonplace in the making of early fountain pens but became less fashionable following the development of modern polymers and plastics. It is made from the by-products of the dairy manufacturing process and, as such, is not suitable for vegans.
Polished to a glass like finish the pen has a solid argentium silver logo coin in the cap finial. It has a chrome plated stainless steel pocket clip and is fitted with a Bock no6 polished steel nib.
The 1313 is a medium sized pen with no step between the 13mm cap threads and the remainder of the barrel. The grip section is slightly pinched to ≈11mm diameter at its narrowest point.
The cap tapers towards the end and cannot be posted onto the end of the pen. As these pens are all hand made there may be small variations on measurements.
Length - Capped ≈ 139mm, uncapped ≈ 134mm
It is provided with a high quality Beaufort Ink international standard sized converter. Standard ink cartridges can also be used.
Please note that pens ship Mondays and Fridays.
